The circumvention of Zoomify is probably what it will come down to irrespective of the pros and cons otherwise – which is a shame.

These are arguments we need at all levels. And at some stage the public who fund institutions need to be asked whether they are willing to, through taxes, financially pay for the real cost of these institutions and collections.
